There are innumerable ways to spend a few hours in Historic Downtown Gresham, especially as spring commences. Lunching with pals before leisurely shopping, date nights complete with dinner, drinks, and maybe even a bit of dancing, or wholesome ways for entire families to spend an evening together; Gresham has a little something for everyone. Here are a few of our favorite ways to enjoy the most (in our humble opinion) charming neighborhood in the Northwest—on your way to Cafe D, of course!
Burger Brunch, Burritos, and Bygone Heirlooms
Start out your morning with the breakfast burrito of all breakfast burritos at Gresham Burrito Shop, then assemble your squad for a relaxing lunch of Gresham’s best burger at The Local Cow before setting off to casually peruse the antique shops that dot Main Street. You can stop off at Café D on the corner of 3rd and Main for an energizing latte before strolling through our favorite little shop, Foxtrot Vintage.
The Dessert Crawl
Start at Pie vs Pie for a fresh slice of marionberry, apple, banana cream or any other of the amazing homemade pies displayed in the glassy pastry cases. Skip the a la mode option, and instead pay a visit to Frenzi Frozen Yogurt for waffle cones, milkshakes or candy-topped froyo sundaes. Finish your debaucherous visit to Main Street with a stop at Sugar Cubed for mini cupcakes. Complement these delectable desserts (and stimulate their digestion) with coffees or teas from Café D.
Family Night Out
Wall Street Pizza is a great place to relax with your family while watching a diverse cast of Gresham residents parade down the flower-lined walkways. Then head across the street for frozen yogurt, milkshakes or cascade glacier waffle cones from Frenzi Frozen Yogurt.
Cafe Delirium is Downtown Gresham’s favorite coffeehouse. Visit us on Main Street today to sample our gorgeous coffee drinks while you enjoy charming Historic Downtown Gresham. Check out our menu or ask for your own specialty coffee drink!
